Lucie Therrien    (often misspelled as Lucy Terien or  Lucy Terian)

Lucie Therrien is included on a compendium of Franco-American Music, on the Folkway Records Label, of the Smithsonian Institute. Le Journal de Quebec said (translation):  "Il n'y a pas que Celine Dion qui fasse carriere aux Etats-Unis...Lucie Therrien y mène une carriere en francais depuis {plus} de 25 ans..." {Celine Dion is not the only singer to have made a career in French in the USA! Lucie Therrien has enjoyed one for {over} 25 years...}

Lucie Therrien, Josee Vachon & Lilianne Labbe performed at the Ete Indien Festival in St. Etienne, France.

Lucie Therrien was the recipient for the 4th time, of a N.H. State Council on the Arts Traditional Award. Her apprentice is reknown  playwright & actress Franco American Susan Poulin.

Lucie Therrien's music was included in the film "Reveil" by Ben Lavine, alongside music by Zachary Richard, reknown Cajun or "Cadien" performer and star from Louisiana.
